We serve youth in the community

Rotary Club of Wilsonville has reignited our Rotary Youth Exchange program, sending Wilsonville High School students to international locations in Europe, Asia and South America, and bringing international students from these same locations back to Wilsonville.

Students’ visits can be several weeks or several months, including a complete school year, for both out-going and in-coming youth. This has proven to be an enriching experience for the students and the host families, with memories made and friends formed for a lifetime. Students also tend to experience a lot of personal growth, problem-solving skills, leadership, diplomacy, and simply how to have a great time with new friends.

We recognize that hardworking young people of sound character are our future, and we want to help them live their dreams. That’s why each spring, the Rotary Club of Wilsonville awards academic scholarships to graduating high school seniors from Wilsonville who demonstrate outstanding service, leadership and academic achievement. These scholarships are funded chiefly through our fundraising efforts at the annual Heart of Gold Celebration. We welcome your support.
