Yes, the time year that brings sun, picnics, quilts on the cool grass, children playing in the fountain… and it will be here before you know it. Mark your calendars for the four most entertaining Thursdays you’ll experience this summer, beginning on July 18.
Rotary concerts manager, Curt Kipp, says, “This year’s slate of musical artists will be one of the most popular we’ve seen in several years. The quality and diversity of the acts will attract some large audiences, and be believe, will help us raise some record donations for End Polio Now.”
Kipp works very hard to use local acts for the warm up bands.
He also works hard to get a variety of genres that will be enjoyed by audiences of all ages and backgrounds. Be sure to catch the concerts beginning on July 18. Bring a picnic or buy dinner from one of the venue’s food booths or carts; grab some ice cream from Jr. Scoops; and settle back in your lawn chair or blanket. Join us at 5pm for the warm up band and 6pm for the main act.
