The Wilsonville Rotary Foundation recently awarded scholarships to three college-bound high school graduates. The foundation funds service projects by the Rotary Club of Wilsonville, including these scholarships. These funds are raised at the annual Heart of Gold Celebration and through other donations.
Selected this year were Olivia Krugman and Carlos Villagomez of the Wilsonville High School Class of 2015, and Achaia Riley of the Arts and Technology High School Class of 2015. Following are short biographies.

Carlos Villagomez — Carlos will be attending Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. On his application, Carlos stated that at Gonzaga, he “will continue taking challenging courses at allow him to build his critical thinking skills, and improve his ability to communicate with others.” His main area of interest is computer engineering. In the spirit of Service Above Self, Carlos volunteered for WERK Week, Raindeer Romp Race, and at the Wilsonville Library.
Achaia Riley — Achaia will be attending Freed-Hardeman University with a goal of becoming a doctor.
