Lane Thompson, Student Loan Ombudsman from the Oregon Division of Financial Regulation (DCBS), will provide valuable insights into navigating student loan repayment options and understanding the current state of student loans.

With more than 500,000 Oregonians carrying student loan debt, which is the second-largest form of consumer debt nationwide, this presentation will shed light on what a student loan ombudsman does, how they can assist borrowers, and the resources available to help Oregonians make informed financial decisions.
