Club Meeting: Tales from a Soul Survivor

Curtis Salgado, an award-winning vocalist, instrumentalist, and songwriter, celebrated for his impact on the Soul/Blues/R&B genres. Described by NPR as “an icon” with “a huge voice,” Salgado is revered worldwide for his performances, capable of extracting every ounce of soul from his songs. Celebrating over 40 years in music, Salgado returns with “Damage Control,” his first full band album in four years, featuring an exciting lineup of fresh, original material. Later that evening, get ready to be moved as Curtis Salgado takes the stage, delivering powerful hits and soul-stirring numbers from his new album. His talk, rich with anecdotes from his extensive musical journey, promises to be as captivating and profound as his performances.

The Rotary Club of Wilsonville meets weekly Thursdays at noon to carry out its purpose of providing service and fellowship to members and the Wilsonville community. Guests are welcome.
