Wilsonville City Attorney Amanda Guile-Hinman will review the City’s work in 2022 and 2023 to bring its local code into compliance with federal and state mandates requiring the City to adopt regulations for persons experiencing homelessness to camp on City property. She will discuss the City’s communication and outreach strategy, the adopted local code provisions, implementation steps, and outcomes since the new regulations went into effect on July 1, 2023.

Amanda Guile-Hinman started her legal career in private practice representing, among other clients, state and local governments in matters ranging from tort liability to ADA and FHA compliance. Amanda then transitioned in-house and has served as legal counsel for local governments since 2016. She currently serves as the City Attorney for the City of Wilsonville, Oregon, representing the City in a wide variety of contract, litigation, real estate, and government law matters. Amanda is a graduate of Willamette University (Salem, Ore.) and University of Denver Sturm College of Law (Denver, Colo.).
