Amy Black of the Clackamas Workforce Partnership will talk about the current and future state of our national, regional and local workforce. Which industries are thriving, which are dying and how can we help everyone gain the skills needed to thrive?
Amy Black serves as the Youth Program Manager at Clackamas Workforce Partnership, overseeing contracts with community organizations providing both in-school and out-of-school youth ages 16-24 with career coaching, essential workforce skills training, and career-connected learning experiences. Coming to workforce services with an extensive background in mental health advocacy and social services for individuals with disabilities, she brings this service mindset to building pathways out of poverty to Clackamas County’s youth. In her free time, she enjoys spending time at home and outdoors with her husband, two sons, two dogs and six chickens.
