Kristin Smith, executive director of the Cancer Resource Fund, will speak on the upcoming Cancer Ski Out event, scheduled for Sunday, March 13 at the Resort at the Mountain in Welches, Oregon. Normally offered as a combination social gathering, auction night and ski race day, the Cancer Ski Out is truly a “downhill fight” against cancer, and it also happens to be serious fun! Kristin will talk about this unique event created by a group of friends, and how it came about. She’ll also touch on the services and programs it supports for cancer patients and survivors and their families. Kristin is a Wilsonville resident and member of the Rotary Club of Wilsonville. She is the founding co-owner of Event Savvy, an events company with expertise in planning and executing charitable, corporate and cultural events.
The Rotary Club of Wilsonville meets weekly Thursdays at noon to carry out its purpose of providing service and fellowship to members and the Wilsonville community.
