Club Meeting: Think Safe while Surfing on the Internet

Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 12:00 pm1:00 pm

Thomas McClendon, president and founder of Citadel Networks in Beaverton, will present to us on the topic of internet safety and cybersecurity. Cyberthreats are becoming more sophisticated by the day, and security has to be a concern for both businesses and individual users. Thomas will draw on his expertise to explain current threats and ways to be safe.

The Rotary Club of Wilsonville meets weekly Thursdays at noon to carry out its purpose of providing service and fellowship to members and the Wilsonville community. The club is holding hybrid “Virtual In Person” (VIP) meetings. Attend in person (masks required except when eating), or attend virtually over Zoom at http://www.tinyurl.com/Rotary97070. Guests are welcome.

Citadel Networks, founded in 2018, offers services in network security, endpoint security, data backup, cloud backup, network design, compliance testing, penetration testing, VOIP, managed services, disaster recovery, remote workforce and cloud Services. Thomas has a broad range of expertise managing multi-platform computer systems for enterprise clients with large user bases. He has experience in Windows and Cisco-based network administration and can provide hardware, software, and peripheral support that boosts performance, strengthens security, and minimizes downtime.
