Josephine Caisse, youth services librarian at the Wilsonville Public Library, will be the guest speaker this week. She will discuss how the library goes about promoting early learning and literacy.

Jo has had the honor of working at several public libraries in Oregon and Washington with most of her career specializing in library services for youth. Jo currently serves on American Library Association’s Early Childhood Services and Programming Committee. She has been trained in the Public Library Association’s and the Association of Library Services for Children’s Every Child Ready to Read program which focuses on educating parents and child care providers on important strategies of nurturing pre-reading skills for young children.
