The Rotary Club of Wilsonville will conduct its regular weekly meeting of the members, living out the club’s main objectives of service and fellowship. Guests are always welcome. Contact any member of the club for details.
For this week’s program, Lisa Palermo will be the guest speaker. She is the development director for Oregon Tradeswomen Inc. Her topic will be, “Oregon Tradeswomen: Building Women’s Economic Independence Since 1989.” Per the organization’s website, “Oregon Tradeswomen promotes success for women in the trades through education, leadership, and mentorship. We were founded in 1989 on the principles that women deserve and can attain economic self-sufficiency by pursuing careers in the construction, manufacturing, mechanical, and utility trades while helping and encouraging the trades industry to build a diverse workforce.”
There will also be updates on various club programs and activities, as needed.
