The Wilsonville Rotary Summer Concerts completed their 17th season in 2018, with great performances by eight headline and supporting acts. The series in Town Center Park raised more than $6,600 for End Polio Now, a project by Rotary International and its partners (including the World Health Organization, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation) to eradicate the crippling disease. As of October, the disease has had just 18 reported cases in three countries in 2018 and the goal is to reduce it to zero. Since 2007, the Rotary Club of Wilsonville has raised more than $72,000 for the cause.

The Rotary Club of Wilsonville is reactivating its Rotary Exchange program, and five students have been chosen to participate. Two Wilsonville students will travel abroad in the fall on full-year exchanges, two others will travel abroad this summer on short-term exchanges, and one Swiss student will be coming to Wilsonville for a year.

The 2016 Wilsonville Rotary Summer Concerts are back this summer, featuring three headliner acts that are new to the series, plus one longtime favorite. Quarterflash, Ben Rice and The Junebugs will join Johnny Limbo and the Lugnuts as part of this year’s lineup. Opening for these headliners will be Whiskey Darlings, Ani Bani, Holfar Blue and Tommy Retro.
