Scott Nichols named 2025 Wilsonville First Citizen
The Rotary Club of Wilsonville announced Scott Nichols as the newest Wilsonville First Citizen at The Sweet Life of Service: The 2026 Heart of Gold Gala & Auction on Saturday night, April 11.
2026 Wilsonville Rotary Summer Concerts lineup announced
Hit Machine, Conjunto Alegre, Jennifer Batten and Full Steam, and Band After Midnight (ABBA tribute) will be the performers for the four weeks of the 2026 Wilsonville Rotary Summer Concerts, the Rotary Club of Wilsonville announced. All of the shows are FREE. Click for dates and details.
Five finalists announced for 2025 Wilsonville First Citizen
The Rotary Club of Wilsonville has announced five finalists for the 2025 Wilsonville First Citizen award. They are Brad Christiansen, John Hillan-Payne, Jennie Hill, Scott Nichols and Rick Wallace.

Mica Miro, Engagement Director for Green Empowerment, will share how long-term partnerships and community leadership help remote communities build sustainable clean water and renewable energy infrastructure.
Teresa Carr, Director of Marine and Commercial Development for the Port of Portland, will discuss the return of international container shipping at Terminal 6 and how the Port connects Oregon businesses to global markets.
Kaylee Chrystal, Community Engagement Coordinator for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Oregon, will share how consistent access to books supports early literacy, strengthens family engagement, and helps children reach important developmental milestones.
There will be no regular Thursday meeting on June 25. Our Installation and Awards Banquet will be held that evening at the Hilton Garden Inn in Wilsonville.
